Otium: Chapter One
Chef Timothy Hollingsworth was awarded the opportunity to represent the United States at the Bocuse d'Or competition in 2008, after which he rose to Chef de Cuisine at the three Michelin star restaurant The French Laundry, located in Napa Valley, CA.
He has now opened his first solo project, Otium, in Los Angeles. Hollingsworth places great emphasis on family and the importance of the dinner table, as well as supporting local purveyors, artisans, and craftsman, by encouraging artists to gather and collaborate.
"In my life, there has always been this responsibility of helping others. You are working with different purveyors, you are working with people that are proud about the products that they're making.
